Porosity Press was founded in 2019, with the intention to get literature, guidebooks and vital materials of all kinds into New York State prisons, at no cost to incarcerated people.
Porosity was thrilled to release Mohammed Zenia’s stunning long poem, Tel Aviv, in August, 2020.
In August, 2021, Porosity celebrated the release of Kamal Fardan’s parole preparation guide, Are You Ready for Your Parole Hearing? A Guide for Navigating Parole Preparation.
All sale proceeds of Porosity’s catalog go directly to the authors. All literature is completely free to incarcerated people.
